One wall of fire can be created on any solid surface within a certain range. A wall can be made up to 60 feet in length, 20 feet tall, and 1 foot wide. Or, you can make a ring wall that is 20 feet in diameter, 20 foot high, and 20 feet thick. The wall is opaque and lasts for the duration.

Every creature that is within the area of a wall should make a dexterity save throw when it appears. A creature takes 5d8 fire damage if it fails to make a save, or half the damage if it succeeds.

The spell deals 5d8 damage to any creature that is within 10 feet of the chosen side of the wall. If a creature enters the wall for a first time, it could suffer similar damage. The other side of the wall could not deal any damage.

Higher Levels You can cast the wall of fire spell whenever you use the spell slot of 5th Level or higher. The damage will also be increased by 1d8 each time the slot level is above 4th.
