This spell shall shape the creature’s dreams. You must choose a creature similar to the target. The target should exist on the same plane of existence as you. The creature’s which do not sleep like the elves, can not be contacted by this dream 5e spell. Even you or any willing creature you touch can enter a trance and act as a messenger. Although the messenger is aware of its surroundings, it cannot take actions or move while in trance.
Suppose, if a target is asleep, then the messenger appear in a target’s dreams and even it can converse with a target as long as it remains asleep, via a duration of the spell. Even if a spell is ended early, the messenger can be brought out of trance at any moment. The target will still be able to recall the details of a dream upon awakening. Suppose, if a target has been awake whenever you cast the spell, then the messenger knows about it, and also capable of either end the trance (and the spell) or else wait for a target in order to fall asleep, at which point a messenger appear in a target’s dreams.
A target can also be made to appear terrifying and monstrous by the messenger. If you do this, the messenger will only be able to deliver a message that is less than ten words. A target must make a wisdom saving throw even if the message is not longer than that. However, on a failed save, the echoes of the phantasmal monstrosity spawn a nightmare which lasts a duration of the target’s sleep and it prevents a target from gaining any benefit from that specific rest. In addition, the target will take 3d6 psychic damage whenever it wakes up.
Suppose, if you have a specific body part, lock of hair, clipping from a nail, or even similar portion of the target’s body, then the target shall make its saving throw with some disadvantage.
